Welcome
Welcome to my site.
My interest is restoring beautiful antique furniture that has been crafted to provide functional, fit for purpose furniture for today’s living.
This furniture can be a wise choice – it can cost less then equivalent modern pieces, requires no new materials and energy and has a timeless proven beauty.
The Georgian and Regency periods are my main interest area. British Furniture of this era is widely recognised as a time when elegant design combined with good materials and highly skilled craftspeople met the needs of the people.

Beauty built to last
The craftspeople of yesterday show us how timeless design and construction provide a lifetime of usage. Whilst tastes and life itself have changed, the tables, chairs, storage and the many useful artefacts created then are just as relevant today as in the 1700s, 1800s, 1900s
Restoration and rejuvenation
Centuries of use inevitably result in a little wear and tear – knocks, scratches, marks etc. – that’s part of its character!.
Owing to the high quality materials and meticulous craftsperson skills, the majority of fine antiques may be sympathetically restored, or better still given a gentle rejuvenation.
Less is more.
